Environmental Office Solutions (EOS) and Operation Fuel are pleased to announce a partnership to promote recycling and reduce landfill waste, while helping Connecticut residents who need energy assistance.
Environmental Office Solutions, of East Hartford, Conn., will make a donation to Operation Fuel, when businesses and organizations collect used print cartridges (inkjet and laser/toner cartridges) for EOS to recycle. The amount of the donation will be determined by the type and quantity of cartridges collected by EOS.
Operation Fuel is a private, nonprofit program that provides emergency energy assistance through its statewide network of fuel banks to lower-income working families and individuals, the elderly and disabled individuals who are in financial crisis. This is Connecticut’s only statewide, year-round emergency energy assistance program. Currently, there are more than 313,000 Connecticut households that can’t afford to pay their energy bills.

On June 13, 2014 Environmental Office Solutions (EOS) of East Hartford, Connecticut, announced it has successfully completed the upgrade to the R2:2013 standard. This upgrade includes a campus designation which incorporates Environmental Office Solutions 20,000sqft receiving and warehouse facility in East Hartford, CT.
As a leader in print cartridge recycling, Environmental Office Solutions elected to aggressively pursue upgrade from R2:2008 to the R2:2013 Standard, becoming the first print cartridge recycling specialist to achieve R2:2013 certification.
