What items do you buy back?

Environmental Office Solutions reclaims and recycles inkjet and toner cartridges for most printers, copiers, fax machines and all-in-one's (MFPs). We buy back used cell phones of various make, model and condition including new, used, refurbished and obsolete cell phones. And, we reclaim and recycle IT equipment such as desktop PCs, laptop computers and servers.

How do I prepare a cell phone for recycling?

First, terminate the cellular service on your phone with your wireless provider. Then, clear the memory of contacts and other stored information on the phone. Lastly, remove your phone’s SIM card, if it has one. Phones with GSM networks use SIM Cards. If you are unsure if your phone has a SIM card or if you need help removing your SIM card, contact your wireless provider. See packing instructions for packing and shipping details.

Does Environmental Office Solutions pay the shipping costs?

Envrionmental Office Solutions Inc. will pay for shipping charges subject to the following guidelines and authorized freight quote. Environmental Office Solutions waives the right to pay shipping fees unless your shipment meets the following criteria:

1. All items must be listed on the buy-back list. If your item(s) do not appear on the list, contact EOS.
2. Your shipment meets the following minimum requirements of 20 lbs. or 20 units. All items MUST appear on the EOS buy-back pricing list or a disposal fee may be applied against your balance.
3. All toner and inkjet cartridges must pass our inspection. EOS does not pay for starter cartridges.

Cartridges not listed on your purchase order:

• Any received cartridge that does not appear on the purchase order or the EOS buy-back pricie list may be subject to a disposal fee of $.50 per laser cartridge or $.25 per inkjet. The fee covers the costs incurred for shipping, handling and disposal.
• Arrangements must be made prior to receiving your shipment if you want these cartridges returned to you. Return shipping is the responsiblity of the seller.
• EOS assumes ownership of all unclaimed product.

Is there a minimum number of inkjet, laser cartridges or cell phones to send?

You may choose to send less than the minimum stated above. However, shipping costs will be deducted from your total. Instead, you may want to donate your cartridges or cell phones to a local school or nonprofit group fundraiser. Where do I ship my cartridges or cell phones?

Ship your inkjet cartridges, laser cartridges and cell phones to the Environmental Office Solutions Collections Center at 45 Belden Street, East Hartford, CT 06108. We will supply you with shipping labels. If you already have an Environmental Office Solutions account, you may order shipping labels online or call 860 291-1900. What is the best way to ship my cartridges, cell phones or IT assets?

First, package you items securely for shipping. Add newspaper, bubble wrap or any other lightweight filler to ensure that the contents will not shift.

The shipping method will depend on the size of your shipment.

For large-volume accounts with loading docks, boxes should be packed on pallets and shrink-wrapped. Your Environmental Office Solutions account representative will schedule regular pickups to suit your needs. Or, you may request a pickup online, by phone (860 291-1900) or by emailing your account rep.

For medium- to small-volume accounts, items can be shipped to our Collection Center using our pre-paid UPS shipping labels. Simply apply the label to the sealed box and then request a pickup online, by phone (860 291-1900) or by emailing your account rep.

What happens if items are damaged during shipping?

If the damage is the fault of our shipping company, Environmental Office Solutions will file a freight claim and absorb the loss. If the cartridge damage is due to improper packing, then shipping fees will be the responsibility of the sender.

When will I be paid and how?

Payments are made in accordance with the terms on the Purchase Order. All shipments must have a valid Purchase Order in order to be received and paid. Please check our Buy-Back Price List, as prices can change without notice. Then contact EOS to recevie a Purchase Order.

What is the difference between virgin and non-virgin cartridges?

Virgin cartridges are empty inkjet and toner cartridges that have NEVER been refilled. Non-virgin cartridges are empty inkjet and toner cartridges that have been previously refilled.

Environmental Office Solutions sells empty toner and inkjet cartridges, new OEM or refurbished toner/inkjet cartridges and used cell phones.

What constitutes a minimum order?

Minimum sales order is $150.00.

How long does it take for my order to ship?

If your order is placed before noon EST and we have the product in stock, your order will ship the same day. Otherwise it will usually ship the next business day.

What types of payment do you accept?

Do you accept credit terms?
